What kind of game is it?
Phantom Blade Zero is a kungfupunk action RPG: fast, aggressive combat built on the Sha-Chi resource loop, set in a world that mixes martial arts with cyberpunk. It is not a stamina-based Soulslike, per S-GAME.
Where and when can I play it?
It launches October 29, 2026 on PS5 and PC (Steam and Epic). Xbox and Switch have not been announced. No official demo has been confirmed as of the August 17 State of Play.
The story in one paragraph
You play Soul, an elite assassin of The Order who has 66 days to live after being framed for murdering the patriarch. The main antagonist is Zuo Shang, Soul's former best friend. The story reportedly branches into eight endings tied to side quests and key items.

Languages & voice
Full voice audio is English and Simplified Chinese only. Japanese, Korean and other languages get interface and subtitles — there is no Japanese dub announced.

Four modes: Wayfarer (cinematic and accessible), Pathbreaker (standard), Hellwalker (fighting-game-style adaptive enemy AI), and 66 Days — Hellwalker-level challenge where every death costs one of your 66 days, and zero means permadeath.

S-GAME pushes back on the label. The combat has difficulty and boss fights, but it is a fast-paced kungfu action game with its own Sha-Chi resource loop and Ghoststep counters, not stamina-based Souls combat.
