Pre-order bonuses
Pre-orders opened on August 11, 2026 on PlayStation Store, Steam and the Epic Games Store. Pre-ordering any edition adds two items early — and neither is exclusive, which is the part most summaries get wrong.
| Bonus | What it is | Exclusive to pre-orders? |
|---|---|---|
| Treasure Basin | Accessory that increases Remnant Dust drop rate by 10% | No — early unlock, also earnable in-game |
| Legacy outfit | An outfit for Soul | No — early unlock, also earnable in-game |
So if you miss the pre-order window, you lose early access to two items rather than the items themselves. Both bonuses apply to Standard and Digital Deluxe alike.
No early access for anyone
Neither edition grants early access. PlayStation's own materials say the game will not have early-access days: everyone who buys any edition — and anyone who waits and buys on day one — starts on the same date, October 29, 2026. That removes the most common reason to pay extra for a higher tier.
Which edition should you buy?
- Standard ($59.99) — if you want the game and nothing else. You get the pre-order bonuses if you order before launch, so there is no content penalty for choosing this tier.
- Digital Deluxe ($69.99) — the $10 buys two outfits (Wulin Legend and Blood-Steel Form), a digital artbook and the soundtrack. Cosmetics and extras, not gameplay.
Both include the same game. There is no Deluxe-only area, no early unlock of weapons, and no season pass attached to either tier.
Where to buy

|---|---|---|
| PS5 | PlayStation Store | Pre-orders live since Aug 11 |

| Xbox | — | No Xbox version announced |
Collector's edition
No global collector's edition has been announced. The Chinese official site showed a collector pre-order as sold out, so a China-exclusive edition likely exists — but with no price, contents or regional availability published.
There is also no disc edition anywhere, in any region, at the time of writing. The physical-release question has its own page because it is the most searched open question about buying this game.
Edition questions
What is in the Deluxe Edition?
Wulin Legend and Blood-Steel Form outfits, digital artbook and digital soundtrack (OST), plus the pre-order bonuses.
What are the Phantom Blade Zero pre-order bonuses?
Pre-ordering any edition unlocks the Treasure Basin accessory (10% more Remnant Dust drops) and the Legacy outfit for Soul. Both are early unlocks, not exclusives — they can be earned through in-game progression.
Are pre-order items exclusive?
No — the Treasure Basin and Legacy outfit are early unlocks that can also be earned through in-game progression.
Is there a collector's edition?
Not announced globally. The Chinese official site displayed a collector pre-order as sold out, so a China-market edition appears to exist — but no price, contents or regional availability has been published, and there is no disc edition announced anywhere.
Does pre-ordering give early access?
No. All editions start on launch day, October 29, 2026.
When did Phantom Blade Zero pre-orders start?
August 11, 2026, on PlayStation Store, Steam and the Epic Games Store. The same day the August 17 State of Play deep dive was announced.
Should I buy Standard or Digital Deluxe?
Standard if you only want the game. The extra $10 upgrades cosmetics and extras only — two outfits, a digital artbook and the soundtrack — with no gameplay or early-access difference.
