Weapon system
Soul carries two primary Blades and two Phantom Edges at all times. Switching a primary weapon mid-fight fully restores Sha-Chi, so the weapons don't just change your damage numbers — they change how you approach a fight.
Confirmed Blades
| Blade | Identity |
|---|---|
| Sanguine | Soul's personal sword; baseline rhythm weapon |
| Sanguine Twin | Twin short swords by Forge; fast hit-count playstyle |
| Sanguine Reach | Long polearm; wide swings for groups |
| Jagged Steel | Bleeding buildup with Hemorrhage finishers |
| Juggernaut | Charges from successful parries |
| Seamless Death | Twin rings; dodge briefly phases you out |
| White Serpent & Crimson Viper | Dual swords; shorter blade is throwable |
| Soft Snake Sword | Defensive parry weapon with blade barrier |
| Venomous Softblade | Snake sword (No. 13); top parry-focused pick |
Which weapon should you use?
- If you like staying aggressive — start with Sanguine, Soul's signature sword and the easiest baseline.
- If you want speed — Sanguine Twin stacks hits fast.
- If you'd rather parry and punish — Venomous Softblade is the parry-focused pick, with Soft Snake Sword close behind.
- If you keep getting swarmed — Sanguine Reach's wide swings cover groups.

- Night Owl — teak longbow, charged shots.

- Ink Cut — 3-hit combo; bonus vs Huangxing.

Sanguine, Sanguine Twin, Sanguine Reach, Jagged Steel, Juggernaut, Seamless Death, White Serpent & Crimson Viper, Soft Snake Sword and Venomous Softblade.
What are Phantom Edges?
Secondary weapons activated with R2 — bows, axes, masks, hammers. Several also work as exploration keys (about 10 lock-key combinations confirmed).
Can you upgrade or evolve weapons?
Earlier S-GAME material mentions weapon upgrades and evolution; the exact system — materials, limits, respec — hasn't been detailed.
